Welcome to the Tanzanite Community of Georgia (TCG)! We are a vibrant and inclusive community of Tanzanian diaspora members living in the state of Georgia, United States.
Our Vision
To build a united and inclusive community of Tanzania Diasporas in Georgia, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride, while preserving our rich and diverse traditions, values, and celebrating our cultural heritage.
Our Mission
To bring together Tanzania Diasporas living in Georgia, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes unity and togetherness. We strive to preserve our cultural heritage by organizing events, programs, and initiatives that showcase our rich and diverse traditions and values. Through collaboration, education, and engagement, we aim to strengthen our community bonds and empower our community members to actively contribute to the growth and success of the community
Achievements
- We are deeply honored and humbled to share with you that our President (on the right) was awarded the Community Leader of the Year at the 4th Annual African Awards USA on April 27th 2024. This recognition is not just a reflection of his individual efforts, but a testament to the incredible support and dedication of our entire community.
